The action of territorial control and the maintenance of security and legality of the State Police in the Como area continues with constancy and extreme attention, an essential tool to guarantee and transmit the sense of security to citizens.

The State Police has further intensified controls, mainly in public places adjacent to those areas of the city that are particularly exposed to the company of criminals or from where requests from citizens have come.
In fact, between the afternoon and the evening of 13/09/2024, the patrol cars carried out 5 inspections in some public places in via Anzani, piazza Camerlata and Portici Plinio, identifying in total 50 Guests, 16 of which were found to have criminal or police records against them.
Furthermore, following the analysis of the positions of individuals involved in illegal behavior or criminal acts that have recently occurred, the Como Police Chief has issued 6 prevention measures.
In particular, five are the mandatory expulsion orders issued against individuals who, in the province, have been reported by local law enforcement agencies for having behaved in a manner deemed suitable for issuing the provisions.
Some of expulsion orders signed by the Police Chief they concern individuals who habitually frequent wooded areas as drug users and, in some cases, responsible for drug dealing.
Two-year ban on returning to the municipality of Ponte Lambro (CO) for a 50 year old Egyptian reported by a detailed report from the Carabinieri of Erba who also reported the behaviour of a 26 year old from Brianza domiciled in the Lecco area and who was given a two-year ban on returning to Inverigo (CO), the Como San Giovanni Railway Police instead, informed the Police Chief in detail about a 28 year old from Agrigento homeless and a 38 year old Marianese, for them one year ban on not returning to Cadorago (CO) and finally, two years ban on returning to the municipality of Como for a 18 year old from Saronno (VA) of African origins, reported by the UPGSP of Como.
Finally, for having been considered a person of very poor moral and civil conduct, a 20 year old from Erba responsible for several crimes against property and against the person was sanctioned with the oral warning of the Police Commissioner, in fact the technical report of the Como Carabinieri Company ensured that he was ordered, through an oral warning, to maintain in future a behavior consistent with civil coexistence and not to commit crimes.
