The State Police, as per the indications of the Como Police Chief Marco Calì, accepting the guidelines received from the Prefect Corrado Conforto Galli, is employing all the branches of the Police Headquarters in the services to guarantee legality and a sense of security in the municipal and provincial territory.
In this regard, two separate measures have been adopted against two individuals deemed to be at risk to safety, having collected numerous criminal and police records over time and maintained a behavior in violation of the law and compromising public order and safety.
There were therefore two escorts to the Repatriation Detention Centres of Rome and Gradisca d'Isonzo (GO), respectively, a 50 year old Moroccan who, immediately after being released from the Como prison, due to his long list of criminal records – he was convicted in 2004 for attempted murder following a robbery in the Milan area, serving almost 10 years in prison, in addition to a significant number of criminal records relating to drug dealing – and his social dangerousness, he was taken to the CPR in Ponte Galeria (RM).
At the CPR in Gorizia, however, a man ended up 27 year old Gambian with a criminal record regarding a very long list of crimes committed in Como such as, resisting a public official, brawling, personal injury and many violations of the drug law, illegal on the territory; the man was notified of expulsion and accompanied to the CPR of Gradisca d'Isonzo.
