Como: Covered faces and armed with clubs and sticks, 12 DAspo issued.

The State Police has issued 12 DAspos against the same number of Como fans, deemed responsible for incitement to violate the law on public order, for violation of the law that punishes the distortion of the face and finally of the law on weapons. The events occurred following the football match that saw last November 30th Como and Monza face each other on the pitch.

The Digos of Como, collected and then developed, with meticulous investigative work, unequivocal elements that led to theidentification of the 12 Como supporters, part of a group of at least one hundred and fifty ultras who on November 30 armed themselves with sticks and clubs, covering their faces with scarves and balaclavas.

That evening on the streets surrounding the Como stadium at the end of the match, a large group of Como ultras had formed and, organised, were heading towards the station in an attempt to reach the departing Monza fans. Once dissuaded from their intentions and made to back down, have then confronted some police officers who were proceeding to arrest a Como ultra (one of those sanctioned today) responsible for resistance and violence towards a public official, causing moments of tension, with the throwing of stones and glass bottles, an initiative immediately quelled.

The info-investigative checks conducted by DIGOS, with the support of the Provincial Cabinet of Scientific Police, have therefore allowed to identify the 12 Como ultras and after a very detailed technical report, allow the Anti-Crime Division to draw up, for each of them, a report of their criminal responsibilities, which was then used by the Como Police Chief Marco Calì to sign the Daspo.

The twelve provisions vary from a minimum of one to a maximum of five years of ban., some with the obligation to report to the Judicial Police during football matches. A one-year ban for a 77-year-old Milanese resident in Argegno (CO), for a 98-year-old from Olgiate, for a 2004-year-old from Cantù resident in Albese con Cassano (CO) and for a 37-year-old from Rodero (CO).

Two-year ban for a 26-year-old from Como, a 95-year-old from Varese and a 24-year-old from Como. Three years of Daspo with the presentation to the Judicial Police for the Como area of 2002 arrested during the phases of disorder, for a 2003 Faloppiese, for a 20 year old from Erba (CO) resident in Albese con Cassano (CO), for a 22 year old from Como resident in the city.
