Como: Nightclub on Via Tommaso Grossi has had its license suspended due to drug use, violence, and customers with criminal records.
La Como State Police ha license suspended of a nightclub on Via Tommaso Grossi, which has been the object of attention by the police for some time now and is considered, due to the careless management, place of illegal conduct, criminal and administrative violations, meeting of criminals and habitual disregard for civil rules.
Il Como Police Chief Marco Calì signed a provision which provides for the immediate closure for 15 days of the venue.
La technical report of the Administrative and Security Police Division documents a long series of crimes and interventions of the State Police, from which emerge responsibilities related to the use of the premises by some customers such as space for taking narcotics, resulting danger to public order and safety.
One of the most recent episodes concerns an intervention by the Como Flying Squad, which has ascertained consumption and dealing of cocaine inside the premises. Near the bathrooms, the drugs were “serve” on the toilet paper holder and consumed by customers one after the other, without any control by the management. On the same evening, a subject was found in possession of 7,70 grams of marijuana and administratively sanctioned.
Il August 30, 2025, moreover, a customer of the place was attacked by another customer, reporting a swelling of the lower lip. This series of episodes adds to numerous cases of drunkenness and disorderly conduct, drug use and disturbance of the citizens linked to the patrons of the place.
The suspension order states: "The public establishment under scrutiny, as evidenced by the numerous checks and interventions carried out by the police, is considered a gathering place with the habitual presence of individuals with criminal records and who pose a threat to public order and safety, giving rise to illegal incidents related to the possession of narcotics. Furthermore, the establishment's customers are often found in an impaired state due to excessive alcohol consumption."
THEurgency the measure was motivated by the need to protect public order, not postponable due to the gravity of the situation.
The agents of the Administrative Division of the Como Police Headquarters they have therefore seals placed on the premises and notified to the manager suspension of license for 15 days.
