Como police are intensifying checks in Cantù: 54 people identified and 40 vehicles inspected.

La Como State Police he intensified the territory checks in the municipality of Cantu, as part of a service aimed at combating the common crime and ensure greater safety for citizens. This activity is part of the broader prevention and coordination plan between police forces established by the Prefect Corrado Conforto Galli and implemented by Police Commissioner Marco Calì.

During the operation, which was also carried out with the support of two crews of the Lombardy Crime Prevention Department di Milano, checkpoints were set up at strategic points in the territory, including Via Dante, Via Roma, Piazza Garibaldi, Via Grandi, Corso Unità d'Italia and Corso Europa, as well as public parks and areas surrounding the center.

The service allowed to identify 54 people, of which 9 with police records, and of control 40 vehicles, also inspecting commercial businesses in the area without finding any critical issues. The presence of the police contributed to strengthening the sense of security perceived by the citizens and to maintaining the high bar of prevention in the areaThis intervention is part of the broader commitment of the State Police to combat crime and ensure the protection of citizens, particularly in the most sensitive areas of the municipality of Cantù.
