Como, major territorial check: 115 people identified and 41 vehicles inspected in Cantù.

La Como State Police, last night, made a dedicated territory control service in the province of Como, in order to combat common crime and ensure greater sense of security to citizenship.

- agents of the Administrative and Security Police Division, patrols of the Como Police Headquarters e two crews from the Lombardy Crime Prevention Department, with the help of two patrols of the Cantù Local Police, they have been located in the area of ​​the Municipality of Cantù (CO), carrying out:

• identifications in the most sensitive areas of the territory,

• checkpoints in the streets surrounding the city centre,

• Inspections of 2 commercial establishments and 1 gaming hall, Where no critical issues were found.

The targeted control service led to 115 people identified, Of which 18 with police records, and from 41 vehicles checked in 3 checkpoints on Via Lombardia. Thanks to the constant presence of the Police forces, in line with what was established in the technical coordination meetings in the Prefecture, no significant problems were found, but it was possible verify compliance with laws and rules.

Prevention activities and control services will continue without interruption, arranged by the Police Commissioner Marco Calì, with the purpose of keep the Como State Police on high alert to protect city communities.
