Cantù: the State Police arrests a 25-year-old Moroccan drug dealer in flagrante delicto.
The State Police, during an activity aimed at combating drug dealing in the Canturino area, arrested a 25-year-old Moroccan man, caught in the act of committing a crime.
Specifically, the Flying Squad investigators noticed, in a parking area in Cantù, a subject approaching a parked car and making an exchange with the driver of the vehicle, who left immediately afterwards.
Growing suspicious of this behaviour, the police decided to stop the car, which however increased its speed in an attempt to evade control. However, the car turned into a dead end and the driver was forced to stop, get out of the car and run away on foot, throwing a wrapper on the ground, which was immediately recovered by the officers and turned out to be cocaine.
A little later the fugitive was stopped and, after being searched, he was found in possession of 19 pre-packaged doses of cocaine, for a total of gr. 11,50 gross, plus 600 Euros in cash.
The man, who was also the recipient of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge at the Court of Avezzano, again for crimes relating to drugs, was therefore arrested in flagrante delicto and in execution of the previous precautionary measure and was He was then taken to the “Bassone” prison.
