Como: 47-year-old man reported for insulting a public official at police headquarters.

The Como State Police reported a man at large 47 year old from Puglia, resident in the Olgiatese area and already known to the police, for contempt of a public officialThe incident occurred yesterday afternoon, when the man went to the police station intending to file a complaint against a person who, according to his story, had attacked him a few moments earlier in the city center.

Welcomed at thecomplaints office, the 47-year-old was asked by the policewoman on duty to provide all the details necessary for a complete reconstruction of the facts, as required by procedure. However, the man gradually became impatient until he began to to insult loudly the officer, then extending the insults to the other police officers who intervened in support.

Given the impossibility of calming him down, the operators were forced to do so to sit in the rooms reserved for detainees. Later the man was reported while at liberty for the crime of contempt of a public official, not before being invited to return later, with a more collaborative attitude, to formalize the complaint initially requested.

Now his position will be examined by the Anti-Crime Police Division, who will draft a technical report for the Como Police Chief, Marco Calì, which will evaluate the possible adoption of an administrative measure against the 47-year-old.
