Como: 27-year-old arrested for sexual assault, also found with cocaine

La Como State Police arrested a 27-year-old citizen Bengali, regular, for sexual violence. At about 20.30, following a report to the 112 NUE, the flying squads of theGeneral Prevention and Public Rescue Office of the Como Police Headquarters they intervened in Anzani Street.

The applicant reported that, while she was sitting in the car with the window down, she was suddenly approached by a man who, stretching his arm inside, he groped her causing her painThe woman, with great composure, she freed herself, kept an eye on him and provided crucial information to the officers, who tracked down the attacker in a local bar.

During the search, the 27-year-old was found in possession of a small quantity of cocaineThe investigations revealed previous convictions for crimes related to immigration, against the person, property and the Public Administration, in addition to a DACUR provision issued by the Police Commissioner Marco Calì and still valid.

The man was then arrested for sexual assault and, upon order of the Public Prosecutor, translated at the “Bassone” prison in Como. The State Police renews the invitation to promptly report any incident of violence or harassment, ensuring maximum attention and immediate intervention to protect victims.
