Summer Triennial
A garden of voices and colors
From 15 June to 30 September 2020, Triennial Milano presents Triennale Estate, a new event that will take place in the Giancarlo De Carlo Garden. A project aimed at the whole city, to return to experiencing culture together.
4 months of programming, a rich calendar of meetings, screenings, lectures, cabaret, live events, festivals, workshops for children. The Triennale Estate calendar brings together formats and activities curated by the Triennale Scientific Committee Milano, by the curators of the Public Program and others developed in close dialogue with Milanese cultural organizations, such as AriAnteo, Amici della Triennale, Fondazione Maimeri, I Ludosofici and Dynamo Camp.
Inside the Triennale Garden - which brings together a series of extraordinary works of art and a great variety of trees - five areas have been defined which will host the different activities: in the CINEMA area there will be film screenings, cabaret, events dedicated to design, live arts and photography; in the BOSCO, where Italo Rota's installation is located, talks on urban transformations, contemporary art and new media will be presented; the series of meetings curated by the Friends of the Triennale and the literature talks will take place in the THEATER of Alessandro and Francesco Mendini, while in the ROTONDA, where the work of Ettore Sottsass is located Stones in the park, philosophy appointments will be held. In the RADURA space there is the Caffè in Giardino.
