Anyone will have more than a month to go to the Royal Palace and enjoy the shots of photographer Vincent Peters, master of the use of lights

Milano, Vincent Peters' exhibition “Timeless time” at Palazzo Reale.

From January 12th to February 26th, Palazzo Reale brings to Milano the timeless shots of photographer Vincent Peters with the free entry exhibition entitled “Timeless Time”, a selection of ninety black and white works in which light is the protagonist in telling the stories of the subjects portrayed.
The exhibition, promoted by the Municipality of Milano-Cultura, produced and organized by Palazzo Reale and Nobile Agency, is curated by Alessia Glaviano, Curator & Head of Global PhotoVogue.

Christian Bale, Kim Basinger, Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel, Laetitia Casta, Cindy Crawford, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Matt Dillon, Michael Fassbender, Scarlett Johansson, Milla Jovovich, John Malkovich, Charlize Theron, Emma Watson are just some of the famous people whose portraits, made between 2001 and 2021 by Vincent Peters, are exhibited at the Royal Palace.
The one portrayed by Vincent Peters is the world of stars and celebrities, a modern Olympus in which the portraits fade into an atmosphere of Italian neorealist cinema. His shots are in fact composed of an overlapping of layers that interact with each other, completing each other: each element that converges and condenses in every single shot, forms a layer that never loses its identity and distinction. It is precisely in the meeting of these singular layers that each of Peters' images comes to tell a story, to the point of becoming a film in a single frame.

During the exhibition, thanks to Cinecittà, the very first shots of the “Timeless Talent” project are also on display, a photographic story created by Peters of the professions and talents of the historic film studios which, today as in the past, make them a point of reference for creativity of national and international cinema and television. A project to enhance the talent of the art department, carpenters, workers, painters, stagehands, electricians, film development technicians and all the artisans of Cinecittà, who contribute from behind the camera and alongside the directors to the creation of the masterpieces created in the studios.

With a timeless style, the works of Vincent Peters exhibited in the Princes' Apartment on the main floor of Palazzo Reale are enhanced by an installation curated by Silvestrin & Associati which enhances the powerful black and white images and at the same time marries the beauty of elegant fifteenth-century rooms that host it.
