Numerous artists presented themselves for the occasion, enriching this particular day with their own works and drawings; However, there was also the presence of ordinary people who, intrigued and fascinated, decided to spend Sunday observing and listening, thus deepening their knowledge of their roots and the most illustrious people of the city.
The initiative was also a great opportunity for the new generations to be able to visit the Grand Cemetery, the third monumental cemetery among the largest in Italy, as well as a symbolic place for the city of Messina.
Art, drawing, painting, poetry and photography have managed to enhance the historical and cultural beauties of the place.
At the meeting points, al Monastery Writer Giandomenico Ruta he narrated the legends and fascinating stories of the mystery of Messina; in front of the architect's bust Leone Savoia, who designed the Gran Camposanto, the actress Silvia Castelli illustrated the famous people buried right under the feet of those present, accompanied by Davide Colnaghi with his guitar. Sergio Longo, from the main entrance, finally guided the historical-cultural visit, telling the story of the city's ancestors step by step.
