Inaugurated at MA-EC Gallery today Wednesday 6 December "The sense of two", solo exhibition by Cristiano Plicato, curated by Chiara Canali.
In the prestigious rooms of Palazzo Durini, over 30 oils by the master Plicato, some of large dimensions.

As Chiara Canali states, curator of the exhibition, Plicato's painting, like his existence, does not stop at the margins of being, but enters the heart of life, for that irrepressible desire to be at the center of things, to be inside the color that has become it same sign and gesture.
Nature - with the luminous greens of the landscapes, the dazzling oranges of the sunsets, the soft ochers of the lands, the dense grays of the mists, the enveloping blacks of the nocturnes - is nothing more than a pretext to demonstrate the exuberance of its presence, which it allows him to be a place of manifestation and occurrence of his destiny.
The exhibition itinerary that winds through the three rooms of the Milanese gallery will allow the visitor to appreciate a selection of the vast artistic production of the master Plicato, with works ranging from the nineties to 2020. An unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in magnificent canvases created by a descendant of the "last naturalists", as Cristiano Plicato is defined in Chiara Canali's critical essay.
A catalog has been published for the exhibition which includes texts by Chiara Canali, Renata Ghiazza, Flaminio Gualdoni, Giorgio Seveso, Alberto Veca and an accurate biographical text by Fabiola Giancotti.
