Arezzo, the Palazzetto di Maccagnolo reopens
Councilor Scapecchi: “An important sports facility has been returned to the city”
Arezzo, the Palazzetto di Maccagnolo reopens.
The Palazzetto di Maccagnolo, the "temple" of Arezzo volleyball, reopens. Once the redevelopment works have been completed, the sports facility returns to the city and the Municipal Administration of Arezzo has published a notice for the concession of use of the plant.
La question must be presented by 13pm on Tuesday 11 October.
"NWithin a few days we will finally be able to see young volleyball players on the pitch again, both for training and for matches”, comments councilor Federico Scapecchi. “In addition to the deadline set for the application, the Administration will make available the time spaces that may remain free, as has been done for all other municipal sports facilities previously granted for use”.
A new call for tenders
“The facility, in this first period of reopening, will therefore remain under the direct management of the Municipality, but already in the next few months we will proceed with a new tender for the entrusting of the management of the facility to a sports club, in compliance with the provisions of the regulation municipal sports facilities. I would like to thank councilor Alessandro Casi and the maintenance office for completing the work and the sports office for the diligence with which they managed to make the facility available immediately after returning the keys".
