Arezzo, the exhibition “Loving is something else” against gender violence.
The City of Arezzo, department of equal opportunities, sponsors the exhibition “Loving is something else”, promoted by the association ART-ECO to be held by Monday 21, with inauguration at 15, Saturday March 26 since cloister of the municipal building.
This is a collective exhibition of pictorial works which have as their trait d'union the gender violence. They are made by: Maura Giussani, Angela Greco, Gabriel Florin, Daniela Dragoni, Maria Flora Cocchi, Francesca Calabrò, Soterus Ferrante, Stefania Chiaraluce, Alfio Samarati, Daniela Refoni, Otello Natalini, Rita Vestri, Ivana Vitali, Silvia Peruzzi, Renzo Regoli, Silvio Papale, Mariangela Baldi, Laura Bordi.
The commissioner Giovanna Carlettini"the initiative is consistent with what was supported on the occasion of the recent Women's Day: the8 March it must be celebrated in every country in the world, in memory of the social, economic and political achievements but also of the discrimination and violence suffered, and all year round. In fact, we cannot reduce it to a mere symbolic event, however important, but we must make it a constant reminder of reflection, denunciation and awareness. And anyone can make his contribution, women and men, as demonstrated by this initiative which refers to strength of figurative language".
The exhibition, with free admission, can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 19pm. Saturday 26 March at 17pm final event story of the violence suffered by women in history.
