Arezzo, the plaque delivered to the European vice-champion Felice Izzo.
The vice-European 5-pin cue champion from Arezzo was received at the town hall.
Sports councilor Federico Scapecchi e the city councilor Federico Rossi they received the Arezzo man at the town hall Happy Izzo, presenting him with a plaque in recognition of his achievement as vice-European 5-pin cue champion.
“My compliments – declares councilor Federico Scapecchi – for what has been achieved and which could not go unnoticed. The municipal administration is attentive to all sports, those in the spotlight but also those with less media coverage, and to the Arezzo athletes who try their hand at them. In this case, we have a discipline that requires great concentration and technique and which in its development is characterized by the 'double gaze' that the competitor must keep, not only on the opponent but on the 'playing field' itself. Felice Izzo proved to be up to the task and, by welcoming him with pleasure, it was as if we had... played with him."
“I also express my congratulations to the athlete from Arezzo – added the city councilor Federico Rossi. This important achievement rewards the efforts of a young man and brings the name of Arezzo to the European sporting scene. I wish Izzo that today's prestigious result is the beginning of a brilliant future."
