Osimo: Caught in the act, 4 repeat offenders arrested

In Osimo (Ancona), the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the local Company, together with those of the Civitanova Marche Company (MC), they arrested 4 Albanian men, already known to the police, in the act of burglary, receiving stolen goods, resisting a public official and unjustified possession of keys or lock picks.

The four, the previous evening, following a prolonged observation service, They were checked on board a rental car in Porto Potenza Picena and found in possession of torches, gloves, portable radios, burglary tools and jewellery, which were later found to be stolen, shortly before, in two house burglaries in Monteprandone (AP) and Castel di Lama (AP).

When checking two of them, to escape capture they tried in vain to flee, being caught, after a few meters, by the operating military. The next house search, carried out in a rented house in Porto Potenza Picena, it then allowed the discovery and seizure of a machete, 2.120 euros, 8 watches and numerous precious objects, believed to be the proceeds of thefts. Investigations are underway to ascertain the exact origin of each seized jewel, for its subsequent restitution to the injured parties.

Upon completion of the investigations, one of those arrested was found to be burdened by a prison order, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Milano, following a two-year prison sentence for the crime of receiving stolen goods. After being photographed, the four, aged 4, 38, 31 and 28, three of whom had no fixed abode in Italy, were transferred to the Ancona prison.
