Ancona: he was growing marijuana in a rudimentary greenhouse, 40-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri.

The military personnel of the Ancona Collemarino Carabinieri Station arrested a 40-year-old from Ancona with no criminal record for production, trafficking and illicit possession of narcotics.

Following intensive control operations in the rural areas of the capital, the Carabinieri identified a rudimentary greenhouse used by the arrested man, inside which 11 “cannabis indica” plants were found in full flowering, well cared for and ready for harvesting (which normally takes place starting in September).

At the arrested man's home, following a search, 14 grams of the same substance ready for consumption were found, in addition to the seeds used to grow the plants and a precision scale.

The man was placed under house arrest at his home.
