Ancona: “StartAN Idea” Contest for Young Entrepreneurs, Applications Until November 6

The guys from the 18 35 years are invited to participate in the contest for budding entrepreneurs 'StartAN Idea'. As part of the StartAN project, the Municipality of Ancona promotes the initiative aimed at the days, creating an occasion in which Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of the under 35s can express themselves on a general topic, developing an entrepreneurial idea characterised by innovation, feasibility, appeal and communicative power.

The Contest, whose applications must be sent no later than Wednesday 6 November, will consist of an entrepreneurial proposal of original and innovative products and services, with a positive social impact, which can also be financially sustainable. The theme, however, will not be free: the candidates, in fact, will be invited to the opening ceremony of StartAN, scheduled for Wednesday 13 November at 15: 00 to the Merchants' Lodge in Ancona. And it will be on this occasion that it will come Theme announced on which the entrepreneurs of tomorrow will have 48 hours to develop your own project plan, presenting it during the closing event of the festival, Friday 15 November.

How to apply for the contest

Participation in the competition is frees it and is particularly aimed at young people between 18 and 35 years old. Each participant can submit only one application, either as an individual or as part of a team or start-up. After the deadline for submitting your application, it will be verified the formal regularity of the requests submitted and the related self-declarations.

The proposal can be submitted via PEC, at the address comune.ancona@emarche.it having as its object 'STARTAN IDEA CONTEST' and must arrive without fail by Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 12:00 PM.

The candidacy consists of the application form (drafted according to the format in Annex 1), correctly signed with digital signature (in Pades or Cades format), alternatively by the individual participant, by all the team members or by the legal representative of the start up.

Any clarifications regarding the applications and the methods of participation can be requested via certified email to the same address no later than November 4, indicating in the subject 'STARTAN IDEA CONTEST – request for clarification'.

Project submission and awarding methods

By Friday, November 15th at 12:00 Participants will deliver their project to the desk specially set up inside the Theatre of the Muses of Ancona and they will receive receipt of delivery. The project must consist of a elaborated in Power Point format on USB memory stickThe organization does not provide either paper or digital media: the procurement of adequate means for the delivery of their papers will be the sole responsibility of the candidates.

We will then move on to a phase competitive, to which in case the number of participants is higher than the maximum, the first 10 registered will participate, during which each participant will identify a sole speaker than in a time maximum of 5 minutes illustrate the project delivered. The Commission may request further clarification that they will have to be processed within a maximum time of 5 minutes.

At the end of the presentations the Commission will retire for the discretionary assessment of the projects presented in public; the evaluation will form a list, which will determine the vincitore of the 'StartAn Idea' Contest. At the end of the day's work Friday 15 November we will proceed to announcement of the winner.
