Senigallia: flees from control at high speed in a stolen car, arrested by the Carabinieri.

The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Unit of the Carabinieri Company of Senigallia have arrested a 20-year-old of Polish origin, already known to the police, resident in the province of Potenza but in fact living in the Doric territory for years.

The man was intercepted by a Carabinieri patrol while driving a Fiat Punto that had been stolen in Senigallia a few days earlier. Although he had been ordered to stop, he took a reckless escape through the streets of the center, pursued by other patrols sent in the meantime to assist by the Operations Center.

After several kilometers of driving at high speed through the city streets, he was caught and stopped by the military even though, after abandoning the vehicle, he had attempted to continue his escape on foot.

Once the investigations were concluded, the young man was arrested for receiving stolen goods, resisting a public official, driving without a license and violating the mandatory expulsion order issued by the Municipality of Senigallia.

The stolen car was returned to its owner. The Court of Ancona validated the arrest, ordering him to remain in his home.
