An educational initiative saw a group of 30 children thank the Carabinieri for their commitment to community safety, visiting the barracks and discovering the daily work of the police force

The children of the “Giovanni Falcone” Primary School visit the Carabinieri Station in Ancona

A special visit took place at the Carabinieri Station of Ancona Brecce Bianche, when a group of 30 children from the “Giovanni Falcone” Primary School in Ancona, accompanied by their teachers, decided to thank the military personnel of the Arma for their daily commitment to protecting the safety of the community. The initiative, born from the desire to raise awareness among young people about the figure of the Carabiniere and the importance of his mission, saw the young students as protagonists of a guided tour inside the Station, to discover up close the work that the men and women in uniform carry out every day.

The boys, curious and enthusiastic, They had the opportunity to explore the various environments and to observe closely the life of the barracks and the functioning of the equipment provided. The teachers wanted to involve the children in this educational experience, explaining to them how the work of the Carabinieri is not limited to intervening in emergency situations, but also covers many other facets, from crime prevention to supporting the community in all its needs. The visit also allowed us to strengthen the bond of trust between law enforcement and the population, creating a carefree moment of meeting that enhanced the consolidated synergy between the Carabinieri and the world of schools.

During the meeting, the station commander, Lieutenant Special Charge Joseph Caiazzo, welcomed the young guests with warmth, thanking them for their gesture of recognition. "Every day we work passionately to ensure the safety of all citizens", he has declared. "Seeing you guys interested in our work and appreciating our efforts is an important sign of how collaboration between institutions and citizens is fundamental for a stronger and safer community". This initiative represents an example of what is possible educate young people to civil responsibility and active citizenship, making them understand the importance of respecting the rules and the work of the Carabinieri who, with their actions often far from the spotlight, make daily life safer.
