Fubine, “appointment, haste and bad luck”: he gets a flat tire but, due to health problems, he is unable to replace it. The Carabinieri intervene to help

It's almost an axiom: appointment, haste and bad luck. That's what happened yesterday morning to a 65 year old while he was going to an important and unavoidable appointment in Alessandria: tight schedule, a flat tire due to the terrible road surface conditions and the appointment at risk of being cancelled.

In these cases, one tends to invoke Murphy's Law, with its pseudoscientific paradoxes and the «If anything can go wrong, it will.» and in fact, to make everything even more complicated, there are the health problems of the driver that prevent him from replacing the damaged tire himself.

But then luck seems to start smiling on the man again, who notices the presence, not far away, of the local Carabinieri station. It only takes a handful of minutes for the patrol to reach the vehicle, replace the flat tire and get the car back on the road. The man anxiously looks at his watch: there is still time, the appointment has not been missed and, after a grateful handshake, he sets off again for Alessandria. Bad luck is behind him.
