Carabinieri Competition: Selection begins for 65 permanent officer cadets.
They are The selection and enlistment procedures for 65 Carabinieri Officer Cadets have officially begun in permanent service.
The competition represents one of the main opportunities for young people who aspire to undertake a leadership career and responsibility within the Institution.
Le participation applications can be presented from today until January 9th, exclusively online, through the official website www.carabinieri.it, in the section dedicated to competitions.
The tests required by the announcement
The selection process is complex and aims to comprehensively evaluate candidates' abilities. The following are included:

written pre-selection test

written tests in Italian composition and English language
-
physical fitness tests
-
psycho-physical and attitudinal tests
-
oral exam
-
final internship
A rigorous process, designed to select profiles capable of embodying the founding values of the Carabinieri, encapsulated in the historic motto “faithful through the centuries”.
Requirements to participate
The competition is open to: Italian citizens in possession of the secondary school diploma, or that they are able to achieve it in the 2025/2026 school year.
By the deadline for submitting applications, candidates must: have turned 17, not having exceeded 22 years of age.
Training between Modena and Rome
The winners of the competition will be admitted to the 208th Course of the Modena Military Academy, where they will start a five-year training course.
The study cycle includes: military training, university courses in legal-administrative, achievement of the master's degree in law.
After the initial period at the Modena Academy, the training will continue at the Carabinieri Officers' School of Rome.

At the end of the training course, the young Officer Cadets will obtain the rank of lieutenant and will be called to cover command and responsibility positions in the various branches of the Carabinieri, operating in the service of the community and institutions.
