Chieti, three days of events on poetry.

Starting from 20th to 22nd Chieti Poetry 2022, the festival organized byMira association and from Center for Poetry and Other Languages, Under the patronage of Common, presented in the presence of deputy mayor Paolo De Cesare e Luigi Colagreco, Director of Poetry Center, creator and director of the national Sinestetica competition for unpublished poetry and videopoetry, engine of Festival created to promote contemporary poetry in relation to other artistic languages, also through the involvement of university students and schools.

"We are at the fourth edition of festivals, a three-day event that will end on Saturday, organized byMira association and the Poetry Center “Festival and other languages” and divided into a large series of poetry book presentations, meetings with performative actions and a conference on this year's theme, “Carnal love, ideal love””- so the artistic director and driving force, Luigi Colagreco - "This edition is divided into three cultural places in the city: the Foyer of the Marrucino Theatre, the former church of Santa Maria del Tricalle,Auditorium of the University Museum. A festival created to promote contemporary poetry in relation to other artistic languages ​​and with particular attention paid to young people from primary schools and universities. The Festival will see the participation of various names in poetry, poets, but also scholars and critics who will enliven the events with the presentation of volumes and arguing around the theme of the 2022 edition. There are two levels, the morning initiatives are expressly dedicated to students, exhibitions and afternoon meetings will be free and open to the city. It starts from Marrucino, with the involvement of Artistic director Giuliano Mazzoccante because the first of the meetings is focused on opera; among the appointments of Festival there's also the one with Renato Minor, journalist, a great critic and poet, who will present his book “Everything is on loan”. We will have a meeting with three young poets under 30, Fabio Baron, Vernalda Di Tanna e Michele Paladino. There is also space for art with the exhibition of eight artists curated by the GArt gallery by Francesco Di Matteo, with: Avvassena, Luigi D'Alimonte, Mauro Di Berardino, Claudio Di Carlo, Frisco, Ipman, Pasquale Ricci e Andrea Starinieri. We will close the three days with a conference that will complete the poetic journey proposed by the 2022 edition curated by Concetta Meri Leone and with mechanical Paolo Lagazzi".
