Vercelli: The State Police meets the students of the “Ferrari” comprehensive institute
On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the ratification of the “International Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Adolescent” on behalf of the General Assembly of the United Nations, which falls on November 20, the Police Chief of the province of Vercelli, Dr. Giuseppina Suma, welcomed to the Police Headquarters a delegation of students from the Comprehensive Institute "Ferrari" of Vercelli, adhering to the "Gruppo Noi", accompanied by the President of Unicef, Dr. Antonio Catania, by Prof. Maria Rosaria Cervellera, head of the "Gruppo Noi" for the prevention of phenomena of discomfort and bullying, and by the representatives of the UNICEF Committee, Laura Scagliotti and Tiziana Negro.
Students delivered the “UNICEF Humanitarian Response Report 2024” in the hands of Quaestor, who he underlined the continuous collaboration of the Police Headquarters with UNICEF, taking part in the numerous initiatives aimed at the little ones and contributing, for years, to the financing of common humanitarian actions through the sale of their calendar. At the end of the meeting, the kids were able to see the State Police vehicles up close and learn about the characteristics of each car.
