Vercelli: Mother and daughter arrested for assaulting a health worker in hospital.

In the late morning of Friday December 13, staff of Hospital Police Station and Flying Squad of the Vercelli Police Headquarters arrested two women, of Moroccan origin, for personal injury procure for healthcare worker, in service at the Department of Dentistry of the Hospital “S. Andrea”, while carrying out his service.

In particular, the intervention of the agents, who provide daily service at the hospital, supported by the arrival of a crew of steering wheels, stopped the violent conduct of the two reported women, mother and daughter, respectively 53 and 25 years old. The latter, impatient for the alleged prolonged wait for the requested health service, attacked three health workers, intent on providing assistance to a man who had suddenly fallen ill, causing one of them to have a ten day prognosis and damaging a door in the ward.

This is the fourth arrest made in the last month by operators of theOffice of General Prevention and Public Aid of the Police Headquarters, which is added to the one carried out against a well-known criminal from the municipality of Vercelli, who escaped from the regime of home detention and has committed violent acts against others policemen, as well as another man, of Italian origin, also burdened by some precedents, who deliberately attacked the emergency responders, during a routine check on some people on board a vehicle.

Also in the last few weeks, the activity of the State Police of Vercelli has allowed the identification and reporting at liberty to the local Judicial authority an Ivorian, born in 2001, for four different theft carried out against commercial establishments in the city centre and private individuals. The items stolen from the respective points of sale were also found by the police and returned, as they were resalable and undamaged, to their rightful owners, who thanked the agents for the work done.
