Venice: The Police Commissioner Gaetano Bonaccorso adopts 37 dissuasive-preventive measures including Dacur, Oral Warnings, Daspo Willy, Mandatory Expulsion Orders and Warnings
In the context of the adoption of strategies aimed at countering criminal and socially dangerous incidents which occur in the province's territory, the Police Commissioner of Venice, Gaetano Bonaccorso, thanks to the work carried out by the Anti-Crime Police Division, has adopted a total of 37 dissuasive-preventive measures aimed at ensuring legality. In particular, following a fight between several people which occurred last November at a bar in the historic centre of Venice, the police officers of the San Marco State Police Station have investigations were started which allowed the identification of 13 individuals who were likely involved and who had engaged in socially dangerous conduct.
The Police Commissioner has against them A total of 20 preventive measures were issued, as, in some cases, it was necessary to take more preventive measures against the same person. With respect to five subjects were issued both the Dacur and the Oral Notice. Therefore, in addition to the Police Commissioner's order to behave in accordance with the law, they were banned from entering certain urban areas for a period ranging from two to three years. Against four subjects, responsible for conduct dangerous to public order and safety, the Daspo Willy was issued, lasting from two to three years. A man was banned from the Lagoon City for 3 years, with the issuance of a Mandatory Exit Notice.
Towards another young man was given an Oral Warning with Prescriptions, the latter, in fact, was already the recipient of a mandatory departure notice. Instead, two other people were hit by both the Oral Notice and the Daspo Willy, for a period of time ranging from 2 to 4 years. Furthermore, following an episode of aggression occurred near the Portogruaro railway station, the investigations carried out by the Portogruaro Carabinieri have allowed the identification of the presumed subjects involved for whom, in order to neutralise their social dangerousness, the Police Chief of Venice issued 4 Mandatory Expulsion Notices with a ban on returning to the Municipality of Portogruaro for a duration of 1 to 4 years.
The investigative activity started following a fire, probably of malicious origin, which broke out in a restaurant in San Michele al Tagliamento has allowed identify the alleged perpetrator of the fire, against whom the Police Chief of Venice has issued 1 Mandatory Travel Notice from the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento for a duration of 3 years and 1 Oral Warning. In addition to the aforementioned measures, 2 other Oral Warnings were also issued against individuals deemed to be socially dangerous, in addition to 2 Warnings for domestic violence and 7 Warnings for stalking.
