In recent days, the Venice State Police has achieved important results in its efforts to combat widespread crime, both in the historic center and on the mainland, making three arrests in flagrante delicto.

The Police Department's patrol cars intervened in Mestre for a fight between two homeless individuals.

The argument then degenerated into a fight during which the first man allegedly hit the second man, causing injuries to his face.

The officers, who arrived immediately after the reports to the emergency number, identified the alleged perpetrator of the injuries and arrested him.

At the same time, other patrol cars intervened at a church in Mestre, following a report of a theft in progress.

Arriving promptly on site, the crews stopped a woman on the roof of the Church and found that shortly before she had entered the accommodations by breaking the glass of a skylight. The woman was arrested.

On Wednesday evening, however, the patrol car intervened in the historic center of Venice near the Guglie bridge following a report of a person armed with a knife.

The latter, promptly identified, resisted the act of control, so much so that he started a fight with the officers who finally managed to contain him and arrest him for resisting a public official.
