Chioggia, 4 doses of cocaine and 17.250 euros found on board a vehicle: the convicted motorist arrested.
In recent days, as part of a territorial control activity, the policemen of the Chioggia (VE) police station reported to the Judicial Authority a person suspected of dealing drugs and receiving stolen goods.
Specifically, on the evening of Friday 3 May, the operators of the Police Station Flying Squad, during a targeted territorial control service near Calle San Giacomo, they stopped a vehicle whose driver had carried out a risky manoeuvre.
The policemen, suspicious not only of the motorist's particularly nervous and agitated attitude, but also of the large bundle of banknotes that were sticking out of his jacket, carried out further checks, the outcome of which the driver was already burdened by numerous police prejudices for the crime of drug dealing.
Following a personal search of the subject as well as of the vehicle, the officers found 4 doses of cocaine-type narcotic substance, presumably intended to be sold to potential buyers, as well as a sum in cash amounting to €17.250 divided into €50 banknotes.
The subject, therefore, was reported at large for the crime of drug dealing as well as for the crime of receiving stolen goods.
Last Friday 10 May, the Judge for Preliminary Investigations ordered the seizure of the sum of money found to be disproportionate compared to the income declared by the suspect and of which he was unable to justify its origin.
