Vicenza: driving with altered license plate and uninsured SUV. 33-year-old reported.

He was driving without insurance, but above all with the altered license plate (the letter “P” had become an “R”): GC, a 33-year-old Italian woman living in the Padua area, was reported by the local police in Vicenza after an investigation that started from a citizen's report, who complained of having received a fine but never having committed any infringement.

Through checks, the local police traced a Seat SUV that sporadically passed through the municipal territory with altered license plates. Thanks to the Targasystem, the car was monitored and intercepted on Monday morning in via Fusinato.

From a careful inspection, the the vehicle was found to be uninsured and to have a cracked windshield. The driver of the SUV was therefore reported to the judicial authorities and the car was seized.
