Trieste: the Municipality renews the project of information desks for women.

Il City of Trieste communicates that, within the scope of the Equal Opportunity Policies, renews the project of the free multidisciplinary information desks, active from 2019.

Thanks to success achieved in previous years, the counters will continue to be a point of reference for the women of the territory, offering free support in different areas of daily life.

After the publication of a public notice in November 2024, the International House of Women was the only company to submit a project proposal, further expanding the services offered.

Services active from 2025 to 2027

For three-year period 2025-2027, the thematic desks will cover the following areas:

• Socio-healthcare
• Legal
• Education
• Work
• Digital skills

What's new in the new cycle of activities

One of the main innovations is the introduction of a periodic analysis of accesses, which will help identify the topics of greatest interest to users. Based on this data, they will be organized four public in-depth meetings each year, with the aim of responding in an increasingly targeted manner to the needs of the territory.

The project will benefit from the collaboration of Qualified tutors and with experience in their respective sectors, ensuring a competent and quality support to the women who will go to the counters.

The Municipality of Trieste thus confirms its commitment to thesocial inclusion , promotion of equal opportunities, strengthening a service that is now consolidated and increasingly closer to the needs of citizens.
