  • 17.00:XNUMX PM: “Zeno’s Worlds. Svevo’s Conscience a Century Later”
    Presentation of the proceedings of the international conference held in Trieste on 19-20 December 2023.
    The editors Elm Andrea Calzolari e Julia Perosa they dialogue with Sergio Adamo, Riccardo Cepach e Silvia Contarini to reflect on Svevo's work and his storyworld, a narrative universe that continues to expand even today.

    Swabian and Zeno Cosini: literary double or modern double? Germano explores the modernity by Italo Svevo and the concept of “interposed person”, a topic of interest in the sociology of contemporary culture.

    Directed by Alessandro Melazzini, the documentary is a itinerarium mentis which explores Svevo's conscience by crossing his hometown.
    The film, a production Italian-French-German edited by Alpine Way, Bayerischer Rundfunk e ART with the support of Film Commission Friuli Venezia Giulia, includes interviews with Sergio Adamo, Mike Albath, Riccardo Cepach, Ivo Stefano Germano, Marie Guthmuller, Maurice Serra, Simone Ticciati, Mary Barbara Tolusso e Paolo Valerio.
    The actors Richard Maranzana e Francis Godina give life to Svevo's words. The documentary, lasting 61 minutes, was previewed at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
    The screening will be attended by Director Alessandro Melazzini.
