The realization of the 10 events on the program is the result of the agreement signed by the two entities, relating to the location of the Steinway & Sons Model B-211 Grand Piano, owned by Pro Senectute and now at the disposal of the Municipality, in the Luttazzi Hall of Warehouse 26 of Porto Vecchio-Porto Vivo, which provides for the use of the same and the inclusion of some cultural and concert events in the aforementioned review.

The project, which sees the synergy between ASP Pro Senectute and other cultural realities appreciated and linked to the city, will expand the proposal dedicated to the elderly population, remaining open to all citizens.

"Today – declared the Councilor for Culture and Tourism Policies, George Rossi - within the review “A light always on” – an absolutely winning slogan, especially when it comes to events closely related to Trieste's associations – We present the program “Culture has no age” conceived by Pro Senectute, a reality with which a nice partnership was born last year, in particular through the recovery of the Steinway & Sons Model B-211 Grand Piano, donated by Commendator Primo Rovis to Pro Senectute and which we managed to keep in Trieste placing it in Luttazzi Hall.

From there a program was born, which we are proposing again this year after a successful first edition, dedicated especially to the elderly protected by Pro Senectute, but not only to them, as it is open to the entire population. It is a series of ten events that range from music to theatre.

This programming, the result of collaboration between various institutions in the area, gives particular significance to the network of relationships that we have established over the years with all the city entities and that gives prestige not only to this initiative, as demonstrated by the important results that we are obtaining from a cultural and tourist point of view.

An important network that means synergy and teamwork. When we talk about the elderly, we often refer to them as fragile people, but today elderly people represent an added value determined by the experience of having lived through difficult times in a context, like the one we are living in today, in which difficult times are unfortunately becoming current again”.
