Urban and Out of Context Daspos Issued for the Protagonists of a Brawl in Trapani
Within the prevention activities for the phenomenon of violence and, in particular, in relation to recent incidents which have occurred in urban areas, the Police Commissioner has 3 DACUR (urban Daspo) and 3 DASPO OUT OF CONTEXT were issued against individuals who were the protagonists of a fight happened during the night a few days ago, near a public place in the Trapani area. The young protagonists of the incident were taking part in a fight with other customers of the nearby public place, despite the presence on site of Carabinieri soldiers, who promptly stopped the troublemakers and accompanied them to the Command offices for the consequent activities.
The commissioner, through the investigations and in-depth analyses of the Anti-Crime Division, once irrefutable factual elements have emerged to express a judgment of social dangerousness, and considering the personalities of the subjects, in order to prevent further incidents of the same nature, specifically in the vicinity of public establishments, depending on the places where the incident occurred, issued 3 Urban Daspos.
Furthermore, considering that the legislation in force on the prevention of disturbances at sporting events, regulated by Law 401 of 1989, provides for the applicability of the ban on access to places where sporting events take place towards individuals under investigation or convicted of criminally relevant conduct, specifically provided for in the aforementioned law, even if this conduct is not directly connected to sporting events, 3 further DASPOs were issued OUT OF CONTEXT, thus preventing infiltration of individuals deemed dangerous into sports facilities and/or fan zones.
These particularly incisive measures include, in addition to the access prohibited in all stadiums and sports facilities in the national territory where football matches also take place, the prohibition to access, transit and/or linger in the streets and squares located in the vicinity and adjacent to the “Provinciale” stadium located in the municipality of Erice. With the measures in question The Police Commissioner intended to stigmatize, in terms of prevention, that any potentially dangerous conduct from the point of view of public order and safety, may occur during healthy competitive sports, which hopefully will always be free from any form of violence and social disorder.
The intense activity demonstrates that the in-depth investigation of criminally relevant behaviors of individuals considered socially dangerous allows the Police Chief to adopt measures that increasingly tend to guarantee the safety of those attending sporting events.
