Trapani: State Police arrests a pair of thieves, they had targeted a supermarket.

The State Police arrested a thirty-eight-year-old man from Trapani and his partner, just thirty years old, who had targeted a well-known supermarket in the city.
Since last summer the two boyfriends, drug addicts, had been responsible for numerous thefts within the business.

The couple always followed the same modus operandi: after having stocked up on foodstuffs, cosmetics and small household appliances, they hid them inside a backpack and, having passed the checkouts, headed for the exit of the supermarket, where they earned the escape.
In some cases, in order to achieve their plan, they had no qualms about threatening the security guard, the store manager or the cashiers who tried to stop them with a knife.

Following the numerous criminal proceedings initiated, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Trapani has submitted a request to the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Trapani for the application of a precautionary measure.
The couple was thrown into prison. The man was arrested by the Trapani Flying Squad, the woman, who recently moved to Genoa, was arrested in the city of the lantern.
