Marsala: extraordinary territorial control services continue.

Extraordinary checks continue in Marsala where the Carabinieri of the local Company, together with the personnel of the 12th Carabinieri Regiment and the specialty units of the force, are carrying out an intensification of external services and checks and inspections of people subjected to measures limiting personal freedom, as well as recreational clubs and commercial activities in the area.

At the end of the service, during which over 200 people and 120 cars were checked, a 41-year-old from Marsala was arrested for violating the house arrest order he was under; a 32-year-old from Petrosino was reported, caught driving his own car without a license; a 31-year-old from Marsala, who after a personal search was found to be in possession of a dagger; two people from Marsala aged 22 and 27 stopped on board a stolen motorcycle. The vehicle was immediately returned to its rightful owner.
In the same context, 5 young people were also reported to the Prefecture of Trapani who, while driving a car, were found in possession of narcotics for personal use and whose driving licences were withdrawn.
