Castelvetrano: Aggravated injuries and threats, two 42-year-olds and a 34-year-old arrested

The Carabinieri of the Castelvetrano Station have two 42 year olds and a 34 year old arrested of foreign nationality, in execution of an order for the application of precautionary measures of house arrest and obligation to reside in the municipality of Castelvetrano issued by the GIP of the Court of Marsala, for the crimes of aggravated assault and threats.

The measure arises from the investigative activity conducted by the military of the Arma following an intervention for a fight in the city centre that occurred last November following which the Carabinieri, who arrived there, they found a Tunisian citizen lying on the ground in serious conditions, with his feet tied.

From the reconstruction of the incident, thanks also to the testimonies collected and the images from the video surveillance, the military collected serious evidence of guilt on three of the victim's compatriots who that evening allegedly tied him up and hit him with sticks, causing serious injuries to his limbs, face and skull (prognosis of 30 days). To corroborate the circumstantial evidence, following the respective personal and house searches, the clothes worn by the suspects at the time of the attack were found and seized.
