Alcamo: Man arrested for serious mistreatment of ex-partner

- agents of the Public Safety Commissioner of Alcamo they executed a precautionary measure against an Italian citizen, seriously suspected of serious mistreatment against his ex-partner. The measure was ordered by GIP of the Court of Trapani, at the request of Prosecutor's Office.

The man, previous offender and already known to the police, was arrested and subjected to arrest with application of electronic braceletAccording to what has emerged from the investigations, the suspect would have carried out, over the course of several years, repeated acts of physical violence, psychological e sexual, generating a state of constant fear and subjugation in the victim. Only recently, the woman, with great courage, decided to turn to the State Police, interrupting a spiral of violence that had been going on for some time.

The arrest represents the second intervention in less than two weeks by the Alcamo Police Station in relation to cases of male violence against women, confirming the Police's constant commitment to combating all forms of abuse and protecting victims. The State Police renews its invitation to denounce any violent or persecutory behavior, remembering that prompt reporting can be crucial in saving those who suffer abuse.
