Trapani and Castelvetrano: Extraordinary checks by the Carabinieri. 15 young people reported as drug users

I Carabinieri of the Companies of Trapani and Castelvetrano, in recent days, have carried out extraordinary services aimed at increase road traffic controls, within the scope of what was discussed and outlined during the provincial committee on public order and safety held with the Prefect of Trapani.

The military personnel of the Arma, during the checkpoints located in various parts of the city, they reported:

• a 50-year-old from Castelvetrano caught with a 100g block of hashish hidden under his jacket;
• a 20-year-old from Trapani and a 21-year-old from Castelvetrano for driving under the influence of narcotics;
• a 39-year-old from Castelvetrano, found in possession of a knife with a 12 cm long blade;
• a 22-year-old driving a car without a license;
• 4 people who, although under house arrest, were not found at their respective homes.

During the same service, they were also reported to the Prefecture of Trapani 15 young people found in possession of narcotics (cocaine, hashish and marijuana) for personal use.
