Petrosino: plantation in a greenhouse, 50-year-old from Marsala arrested.

The Carabinieri of the Petrosino station, at the end of an investigative activity, arrested a 50-year-old man from Marsala - with a police record - for the crime of producing narcotic substances.
The soldiers of the Carabinieri, at the end of observation services, broke into a greenhouse where they had noticed the man accessing it. As a result of the search, 9 indica hemp plants measuring approximately 2 meters high were found and seized.
The activity continued at his home where a further 55 drying hemp plants were found, several bags containing inflorescences (weighing approximately 5 kg), irrigation and packaging material as well as cash with banknotes of various denominations, the all subjected to seizure.
Following the validation hearing, the man was subjected to house arrest.
