Spice, “Christmas in Museums and Libraries” is the new program of Christmas events dedicated to children and families, promoted by the Municipal Administration in collaboration with the Civic Museums and the Urban Library System.

Among the activities on the calendar, the one that stands out is the Christmas Workshop: Designer Decorations to Hang on the Tree, to be held Thursday 19 December at 16.30 both at Library of History of Art and Archaeology “Giancarlo Marmori”.

The workshop offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of modern art, with a brief introduction to masters such as Mondrian, Miró, Klee, Kandinsky, Van Gogh, Munch, Chagall, Magritte, Picasso and Warhol. After this overview, children will be able to test their creativity, making personalized Christmas baubles using different materials. At the end of the activity, the painting techniques that made these artists famous will be explored.

The laboratory, completely Loano train station, is aimed at children aged between 6 and 12 years and lasts about an hour and a half. Booking is recommended, given the limited number of places available.
