La Spezia: "Eco Printing" workshop at the Civic Seal Museum.
I Civic Museums and Urban Library System of the Municipality of La Spezia present “Let's have fun while learning”, a new and rich calendar of events, activities and workshops dedicated to the little ones and their families. The initiative, strongly supported by thePeracchini Administration, will accompany children and parents throughout the autumn season, including the Christmas events until'Epiphany 2026.
Il Next appointment is set for Sunday 9 November at 16.00pm at Civic Museum of the Seal, with the laboratory entitled “Eco printing: an alternative footprint”.
Il seal, as the organizers recall, was the first instrument invented by man with the aim of leaving an unmistakable imprint on artifacts and documents. During the activity, participants will be inspired by the eco printing technique, a procedure artisanal and artistic which allows for monitoring the dye and decorate fabrics without using chemicals artificial or harmful.
Through natural supports and materials, children will be able to produce natural imprints printing on fabric shapes and colors of plant elements including leaves, flowers, berries, seeds and bark, experimenting with a creative and sustainable way of approaching art.
The activity is aimed at children from 6 to 11 years, having a duration between one hour and one and a half hours. The cost of participation is 5 euro per person, unless otherwise specified.
