San Teodoro (Sassari): meeting between Carabinieri and students in the name of safety and legality

At the Municipal Theater of San Teodoro, the Carabinieri of the local Tenenza they met around 80 students from the second and third classes of the Secondary School of the State Comprehensive Institute of San Teodoro.

The meeting, organized in collaboration with the school, was a precious opportunity to raise awareness among young people on important issues such as bullying, cyberbullying, gender violence and safe use of the internet.

The Carabinieri, through simple and direct language, addressed these issues with the children, providing them with useful information and practical advice to prevent and combat such phenomena.

Particular attention was paid to the topic of gender violence, with a focus on stalking and mistreatment in the family. In this regard, a video was shown which shows an intervention by the Carabinieri following a case of domestic violence, recently broadcast on RAI.

Furthermore, the soldiers explained to the children how to access the force in the various roles, screening an institutional video that shows the composition of the different departments and their activities.

There was no shortage of moments of interaction with the kids, who were able to ask questions to the Carabinieri and express their interest in the topics covered.

The meeting ended with the distribution of information material and with the Carabinieri's invitation to contact them for any need or doubt.

The initiative is part of the broad commitment made by the Carabinieri to promote the culture of legality and safety among young people, encouraging constructive dialogue and a relationship of trust with the new generations.
