These categories also include adult patients who have experienced at least one episode of severe hypoglycemia.

"The decision to expand access to the drug in Sardinia was not a coincidence but stems from the very high incidence of diabetic pathology on the island: there are approximately 13 thousand people affected by type 1 diabetes, with an absolute world record for the geographical area, while type 14 diabetes stands at XNUMX thousand patients.", points out Bartolazzi.
