The call for applications for grants to commercial enterprises for obtaining quality certifications and the certifications and licenses required to carry out specialized activities has been published.

The Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce has activated a tool to support the development of commercial activities, to increase their competitiveness through the acquisition of specific specializations or the certification of quality standards.

The published announcement provides for the possibility of granting the incentive not only for initial acquisition of quality certifications and driving licence qualifications, as in previous years, but also for maintaining or renewing previously acquired certifications.

To further consolidate the activities of small and medium-sized commercial enterprises, the possibility has been introduced, for those companies that undertake to acquire or renew quality certifications, qualifications and licenses, within 12 months from the date of granting of the financing, to request a 70% advance which will be paid following a positive outcome of the investigation and approval of the concession provision and following the transmission of a bank guarantee or surety bond.

Companies that have had an operational headquarters in the region for at least 24 months may apply for the grant.

Labor taxes, starting from a minimum of 600 euros up to a maximum of 15 thousand euros, for each certification acquired, and a maximum total contribution of 20 thousand euros, They are granted as capital and cover up to 75% of eligible expensesThe same contributions are included in the “de minimis” regime.
