Rome: Bar on Viale Ippocrate robbed, 43-year-old arrested

“This is a robbery, give me the money!”. This is how the robber began, twice, ordering the cashier of a bar on Viale Ippocrate to hand over the takings. The man recognized by the woman as the perpetrator of the robbery was already known to the police. Just a month ago, he had already been caught and reported, on two separate occasions, for the same crime. The searches immediately started by the police through the databases allowed them to intercept him in a hotel located on the same street as the targeted business, where, shortly after, the alert went off. Taken by surprise, the 43-year-old, who in the meantime hadn't even had time to change, he still had the proceeds from the robbery he had carried out shortly before in his pockets. At the end of the investigations, the man was therefore arrested and subsequently validated by the Judicial Authority.
