State Police, FIPE-CONFCOMMERCIO and APCI strengthen collaboration to promote gender culture and the protection of women in the restaurant sector.

Rome: Memorandum of Understanding for Women's Safety Renewed.

With today's signature, 10 February 2025, confirms and strengthens the collaboration, started in 2021, between the Central Anti-Crime Directorate of the State Police and the FIPE-CONFCOMMERCIO Women Entrepreneurs Group for the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at diffusion of gender culture, in the wake of the permanent campaign of State Police “This is not love”.

Il Memorandum of Understanding further expands its spectrum of action, including the participation of theProfessional Association of Italian Chefs (APCI), with the aim of promoting the Gender culture and women's protection also in the sector of catering and Italian cuisines.

A concrete commitment to women's safety

Il Central Anti-Crime Director, Prefect Alexander Julian, President of the FIPE Women Entrepreneurs Group, Valentina Picca Bianchi, and the President of APCI, Sonia King, they met today at Tuscolano Pole to sign the renewal of an agreement that aims to continue the development of the #TrueSecurity Project.

This is a campaign designed for promote training, information and awareness initiatives at a territorial level, with the aim of spreading knowledge of the issues related to gender violence and to victim protection tools, including preventive measures of the Police Commissioner and emergency response devices adopted by the State Police.

Involving everyone for real change

The agreement arises from the common need for increase women's safety levels, identifying new and effective methods for spread gender culture.

The goal is reach women not only in the private sphere, but also in workplaces and leisure time, through initiatives involving both the clients the public establishment staff. Thanks to'APCI membership, the project now also extends to those who works in professional catering, promoting a more sustainable environment aware and confident.
