Controls with channeling of traffic flows at the expense of drivers and their vehicles for the prevention of the phenomenon of clandestine racing and the so-called “autotuning” have been implemented in the last two weeks in the Anagnina area. The officers in charge were the State Police, the Carabinieri, the Local Police, as well as the specialists of the Highway Police, who, in implementation of a carefully planned device, closed all the access roads to the shopping center to monitor transit and access.
The operational scheme adopted, which represents yet another expression of the territorial control relaunched with determination by the Rome Police Headquarters for months now, with particular attention also directed to the suburbs, has seen the alternation of checkpoints with real roadblocks that have systematically intercepted all vehicles in transit along the actual stretches potentially affected by the aforementioned phenomena.
Overall, approximately 480 people were identified and 230 vehicles were subjected to meticulous checks by police officers who worked in synergy, bringing together their respective, even specialist, skills, while There are 9 fines imposed for violations of the Highway Code in relation to the various articles of the aforementioned legislative text, among which we highlight the violation of the obligation to wear seat belts, as well as illegitimate alterations to the factory conditions of cars.
Special attention was also paid to the parking areas in the area, where, on some occasions, car rallies set up with high-powered sound systems and capable of disturbing the peace of residents had been reported.
The presence of numerous patrols has allowed us to prevent the possible spread of the phenomenon described, benefiting the well-being and liveability of the urban places under consideration.
