The Rome Police Chief has ordered a new blitz by the State Police in Quarticciolo with an ordinance. This rigorous approach has been going on for months in the outskirts of the Capital with the aim of restoring adequate security to citizens

The greatest satisfactions for the cops to the umpteenth high impact inter-forces, arranged by order of the Police Commissioner of Rome, taken in the afternoon of February 14th at Quarticciolo, arrived from two elderly people who leaned out from a balcony and some residents who approached the manager of the service to say, with great simplicity, THANK YOU.

Led by the manager of the V Prenestino District, men of the State Police,Arms of the Carabinieriand Guardia di Finanza and Local Police of Rome Capital they have combed through the eastern outskirts of the capital where, for months now, a widespread presence has been established with a strategy that aims to intervene with maximum rigor in the heart of the capital's drug dealing areas and in the recent episodes of resistance put up against the police forces by the pushers in the area.

Following the checks, they are 9 foreigners taken to the offices in Via Patini for the necessary assessments regarding their position on the national territory. For one of these, a 23 year old of Tunisian origins, the provision has already been triggered expulsion with a simultaneous order from the Police Commissioner for detention at the CPR (Repatriation Detention Center) of Ponte Galeria awaiting repatriation.

The rigorous approach will continue with determination and on a daily basis in the shared objective of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, chaired by the Prefect of Rome, to return to citizens an adequate framework of security.
