On December 11th, at 10.00 am Rome, At the Save The Children ETS headquarters, in Piazza San Francesco di Paola 9, the Chief of Police – General Director of Public Security – Prefect Vittorio PISANI , General Director of Save the Children ETS Dr. Daniela Fatarella have a new Memorandum of Understanding signed.

The previous Protocol, signed in 2020 and aimed at a profitable collaboration relationship between the parties for the implementation of initiatives aimed at promote and support the correct use of the Web by children and adolescents, will see an extension of the scope of application in order to increase action to combat crimes of sexual exploitation of minors, including online, as well as a correct one application of procedures for the protection of minors of any nationality who are victims of abuse.

“The great work carried out in the protection of minors thanks to the constant collaborative relationship between the State Police and Save the Children and the significant results achieved have led to the signing of a single Protocol involving all the branches of the Department of Public Security – declared the Chief of Police PISANI – The aim is to strengthen the action to combat crimes of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, the implementation of initiatives aimed at promoting and supporting the correct use of the Web, as well as the support and assistance of minors of any nationality who are victims of exploitation and crimes.”

Similarly, sharing awareness-raising and training activities proves to be the right way to have a positive and effective contamination in priority areas such as the protection of minors of any nationality who are victims of abuse”.
